Whenever I need a little pick-me-up, I always go to my favorite “single girl” activity, which is having a shoe fashion show in my apartment. I love it.
I pick out several pairs of my high heels and strut around my house like I’m Heidi Klum or some other supermodel walking in New York Fashion Week. Yes, I do practice my “blue steel” look at the same time :)
It doesn’t matter what I’m wearing during the fashion show (usually a tank top and gym shorts) because this activity is all about showing off the awesome shoes I never wear to work…or really even outside of my apartment.
So as a fluffy Monday night post, I thought I would give you all a sneak peek at the fashion show from a few weeks ago. You can’t see it, but I’m totally channeling Zoolander on my face. Oh and please ignore the unpedicured toes too.

Sassy! I saw someone wearing these on New Years and rather than stealing them off her feet, I asked where she got them and picked up my own pair the next day. More practical

I think that to get the credit loans from banks you must present a good reason. However, one time I’ve got a small business loan, because I wanted to buy a building.
I’m in major, major need of a little single girl pick me up! I think that means I need to plan a trip somewhere to have some fun!
Those shoes are all super cute! I am so bad at walking in heels, but am getting better :) Takes practice, I suppose.

I have a great pear of creamy-peachy-gold (I don’t really know what colour they are) shoes my sis got me from Ninewest for my last birthday. I love them but because they are a little tight I can only really wear them inside my flat. Oh well…

Instead of a heel fashion show, I’d do a ballerina flat fashion show. I love a good flat, although I am falling more in love with wedges.

I have an AWESOME pair of maroon red shoes that I own but hardly wear because the heel is a bit much, even for me. They have some gold flecks in them also. Steve Madden’s. Will never throw them away.

You have GREAT shoes! This would NEVER be my pick-me-up though, ha. I get nervous in heels (though I’m DESPERATELY trying to learn to walk in them and love them), but kudos to you! :)
I have a pair of green peep toes with a wood heel that I LOVE, but I hardly ever wear them. I don’t really have an outfit for them or an occasion.
I have a pair of Steve Madden rounded toe heels that I love but they’re just a little too big so they can be hard to walk in. They’re light pink with black accents. So pretty…
I may or may not have attempted to squeeze into the black ones when I was trying on the boot cut jeans on friday… don’t worry, my feet were far too fat for them.

Why do you barely wear them outside? They look lovely! I love the blue and black pumps you have. Very sexy! I loveeee shoe fashion show, due to me being a huge shoe fan. What I barely wear would be my knee high boots. Unless I have a gig, I don’t wear them. Jakarta people may look at me weird, it’s so hot and dry over here usually to wear boots.

Love those shoes and yes I have a favorite pair! I rarely wear them because I don’t want them to get ruined, they are Jessica Simpson’s and they are black and white with a cute bow.
Love the shoes! How much fun is this? I tried on a pair of leopard print flats that I basically fell in love with but sadly didn’t buy. I am contemplating a trip back to the store to pick them up later in the week.

Shoes! I LOVE shoes. My favorite pair changes with the season: in the winter it’s my mid-calf red boots and in the summer my brown pep-toe wedges with leopard print on the wedge.

YES. I have a pair of heels that are cobolt blue/almost purple suede and I’ve only worn them ONCE because they’re SO uncomfortable. but i still love them!

I do this ALL the time. I probably have about 15 pairs of shoes that I’ve never worn out of the house.
I have two pairs of heels that I bought on impulse because they are beautiful, but I never wear them. I can’t, they will kill me. Me in hells = not so pretty sight to behold.

At my previous job we couldn’t wear open-toed shoes so I hardly ever bought anything fun. Now my favorites are a pair of black patent leather peep toes! I also have an awesome pair of strappy silver sandals I wore last year on my cruise. They have like a 4 inch heel so I hardly ever wear them.
LOVE those multi-hued blue ones!
I’d strut these super awesome silver BCBG heels I have that I think I’ve worn once for a military ball. They have a sexy strap w/ a rhinestone accent. Me-ow.

My fave heels are peep-toe green sling-backs with white polka dots. I rarely wear them, but when I do, watch out! ;)
