New Moon: it’s time!

As I write this, I’m struggling to contain my excitement because tonight, well actually tomorrow morning at 12:45 a.m., TC and I have tickets to see this little movie in Chicago.

And I’m so excited I might actually scream out loud. But I’m an adult so I will try to contain myself.

That’s right, we have early morning tickets because we’re both crazy enough to go at that ungodly time. We will be quite a pair at the theater. In fact, we’re meeting up shortly to wait in line, packed with reading material, snacks and iPods full of Glee and other TV shows. And when the big moment comes, I’m not above pushing past people to get better seats.

I am optimistic this will be better than Twilight, during which I laughed and groaned SEVERAL times, but even if it’s not, I’m super excited about doing something crazy and fun like this with my buddy.

The last time I saw a midnight showing was Star Wars prequel movie #2. Those were during the college years when I didn’t have…a full time job to go to the next day.

But now I do and that won’t stop me. Even if I will be in my glasses, wearing leggings as pants and shotgunning energy drinks at my desk by 11 a.m.

It will be SO worth it.

Primarily because I can’t wait to see this.

HEY-OH!

I could look at that image all day long (and no, I don’t care that he’s 17. That just means lookie, no touchie).

Is anyone else going to see the movie this weekend? Or am I the only one excited by this finally being released??

Hope you loved it! I’m going tomorrow night now that the fuss has died down a little.

    SO. Excited.

I went at midnight too (and frequently go to the midnight showings — Harry Potter, Twilight, The Green Hulk). Seeing Jacob shirtless was totally the highlight of the movie! The rest of the wolfpack wasn’t so bad either. LOL.

woooooo new moon! hope you ladies had a fabulous time and didn’t have to push too many crazy fans around, haha.

I saw the movie at midnight too! It was WAY better than Twilight. (Thank goodness.)

The biggest upset was the Volturi scene. They do not fight in the book!

Even with that, it was worth being tired today. As I write this I am sitting at my desk drinking a sugar-free Rockstar energy drink.

So, you know how in international soccer games, when someone scores a goal, the announcer screams “GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!”?

Thats what goes through my mind everytime I see Taylor Lautner’s nekid torso.

Saw it. LOVED it. LOVE Jacob a bazillion times more. And I really want to see it again now.

I’m going tomorrow at 1pm! I can’t wait. I loved the first movie, just because it was my fav characters come to life and I know this one will be even better, because, um, they had a BUDGET this time around! Glad you liked it and can’t wait to see it!!!

I’m one of those Twilight Moms….I stood in line for over an hour to buy tickets to the midnight showing. I took both my daughters and two of their friends, along with two of my friends. It was wonderful!

  11. You’re going to kill me when I tell you the Twilight kids were in Knoxville the other day for a premier (Knoxville is home to Regal Cinemas, one of the largest theater chains), and I ignored it, right? I mean, I did have to work, so I had an excuse :)

I still haven’t read any of the books, but I have Twilight sitting on my dresser. I just finished a book,s o I think it will be next.

  12. “Lookie, no touchie”

You know I’m going tonight. I’m excited, but I’m not looking forward to screaming teens. My Twilight experience was nearly ruined because of the screams. Shut it people!

    Enjoy!

Apparently, the movie is sold out until Sunday at our one theatre, so I’m not going this weekend. But I am SO JEALOUS you are! Have a lovely time, lady!

  19. bianca says:

I’m so excited to see it! I was going to go at midnight, but I didn’t think I could handle all of the squealing and crowds. So I think I’m going at 10 am tomorrow. Yes, it’s early but fingers crossed that I’m one of 20 people in the theater

  20. I have no plans to see New Moon at all, but um, the dirty thoughts are a-flowing over those lovely tanned abs. Oh my.
