I love shoes but at heart, I am a purse girl. I would rather spend $400 on a purse than on a pair of designer shoes. Mostly because I’ll damage that shoe beauty in about 2 seconds (with my luck).
I wouldn’t even know what to do with a $400 pair of shoes. I would just wear them around my house, to do dishes or water the plants. Money NOT well spent.
But purses are my love. They always fit, look good year-round and are such an easy way to dress up an outfit.
And right now, I’m on the purse prowl.
That’s right, I’m a purse puma/cougar in heat, looking for her next fix.
To fix my purse craving, I went to my happiest place on earth, Nordstrom, allowing myself to gingerly touch the soft leather and imagine how gorgeous these lovely bags would look on my shoulder. Yeah, I went to second base with them :)

So many choices. Some that cost as much as two months rent and some that are affordable. What is a girl to do? Sharing these made me feel better too so the purse urge has been met.

i’m not all that big on fashion and what not. i own 3 pairs of heels, 2 flats, some chucks, moccasins, boots, and flip-flops. i will never understand spending more than $100 on a pair of shoes. as for purses, i have a few coach purses (i know, awful) and i never really use them unless it’s something super fancy. otherwise, i just stick my ID and debit card in J’s wallet, easy. i’m one of those people who would forget my purse everywhere, anyway, so it’s probably for the best.
I think I’m a purse girl but I have more shoes because they wear out faster.
I am definitely a purse person! I’m far too clumsy to have nice shoes–they might last a week before being all scuffed, and it would be a little ridiculous. But my bags? Those last me years!

I’m more of a shoe girl, but that’s probably because in my line of work, I don’t carry a purse. (Because carrying a purse to a fire? Is kind of awkward when you’re also carrying two cameras…)
However, I NEED those Steve Madden flats in my life! Like, immediately. I love everything about them!
I like purses more, although I think that’s more due to the fact that I hate my feet. Its really hard for me to find shoes that fit, let alone that are comfortable. And its far easier to find a purse that I like.
I need that Carla bag in my life. I’ve two high-end purses, both LV, but I NEVER use them, so I can’t possibly justify another.
That, and the fact that having one income means NO MONEY IN DA BANK.

My shoe and purse addiction may be the thing that keeps my son from being able to go to a good college. So we can’t afford higher education. At least Mommy looks good!
I love both purses & shoes but that Valentino purse, Hot Damn! Now I want it… I tend to go to DSW for my shoe fix since there’s always a great sale and it’s the same shoe! Nordstrom is just a bad, bad place for me to visit. I’ll spend too much $ there :)

I’m definitely a shoe gal but lately, I’ve been getting more into purses. I just got a Jessica Simpson bag that I just love. Who knows? I may walk over to the dark side…haha.

Loooove the first two purses. And I am actually an advocate of expensive shoes, but only Cole Haan’s Nike shoes. Comfortable and gorgeous. I can’t stop buying them. (Seriously, help me.)
While I love purses, I’m totally a shoe girl. It’s always my go to pick me up too–if I’m ever feeling crappy about myself, I go shoe shopping.
Definitely a purse girl – my shoes get ruined almost instantly. Keeping shoes in good condition in the Midwest is just impossible unless you only wear them indoors!

probably shoes. I like a good purse, but I do not like switching out my stuff so I have a neutral purse and go with it…shoes are fun though…
That’s a tough question… I think I have to go with shoes though. There’s nothing like the feeling of pairing a new shoe with the perfect outfit for the first time or coming across an old favorite in the back of the closet that you’d forgotten about :)

Purse girl, hands down. My favorite is Doony & Bourke. I have two zebra print bags (among many others). I love them. They’re kind of my trademark.
I’m pretty equal on purses and shoes – I like both, but I don’t need to be put on a spending leash with either. Of the ones you showed me, I’m in love with those Report shoes – adorable!
Please don’t make me decide. I feel like I can’t say I love one more than the other… kind of like when you have kids, I’d imagine.
I love those gun metal color shoes! I love the girlish flower pattern, and that they’re flats. I can’t wear heels right now, so those would look just perfect on my tootsies!
I would rather have a nice piece of jewelry than expensive shoes or purses. Most of my bags are cloth of some sort so I can just throw them in the washing machine when I get them dirty. My cat loves to sleep on my current purse, so it’s always covered in gray fur.
I am more of a bag gal myself — and the bigger the better. I have entirely way too many but can’t bring myself to part with any of them. I have a lot of shoes too but I always gravitate toward bags. I love those steve maddens though.

i just tried on the report shoes today! i ended up going with a paolo something or other black leather that kind of look like the steve madden florale flat.
